About

goodwell connects older adults who need a greater level of care to a trusted
senior living home or community.

What fuels us is the belief that the way we view our older friends and neighbors, our parents, and our grandparents, makes all the difference in how we relate to each other.

We know that trust is earned through excellence. We are committed to listening to what is important to you, and to helping you find the right place so you can continue living your best life possible anywhere you call home.

Now, more than ever, we need to know that our family members are safe and surrounded by people that embody compassion, respect and excellence.

Norma Dupertuis, MASM, has Master in Aging Services Management from the Leonard Davis School at USC.  She teaches a course on leadership with Professor Edward Schneider, Dean Emeritus of the Leonard Davis School, and has enjoyed volunteering with older adults for decades.  She has a business degree that she has applied to real estate investment and home renovation. Norma has two decades of Spanish interpreting experience.

Victor Bassuk MD, board certified in Internal Medicine, is part of the team. He enjoyed a successful private practice for many years with a focus on geriatrics, and an emphasis on preventive medicine and prioritizing quality of life.

What people are saying about goodwell

“Deciding which facility or service is best for you or one of your loved ones is a difficult and often confusing job. Fortunately, with goodwell, you have the help of one of the most talented women I have ever met. Ms. Dupertuis was my best graduate student in gerontology at USC. In fact, she impressed me so much, I asked Ms. Dupertuis to be the co-instructor of the Leadership in Gerontology course at USC. Over twenty CEOs of the nation’s best senior living companies come to speak in this course, traveling from the Midwest and East. Among these companies are Belmont Village, Sunrise Assisted Living and Silverado. She knows the options for senior living and undoubtedly, goodwell will be the best guide you can find to learn about what services are out there for your friends and family.”

Edward Schneider, MD
Dean Emeritus, Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, USC

“Norma Dupertuis entered my USC graduate class over five years ago, elevating the class dynamic with her quiet competence and understated excellence. Subsequently, Norma has mentored students, helped plan curriculum, taught, and cultivated support networks for newly minted gerontologists. Her extraordinary tact and kindness inspire trust, while her skill sets and wisdom inspire confidence. When the time comes that my eighty-nine-year-old mother cannot live by herself anymore, I will turn to Norma.”

Leah Marie Buturain, Ph.D.
Instructor, Loyola Marymount University

“There is no better Senior Living Advisor. As a Gerontologist Norma Dupertuis is an expert on the needs of aging adults. But even more important and rare to find, is her genuine heart and compassion for mature adults and the loved ones caring and concerned about their well being. Norma is there with her clients every step of this journey, making this important transition as easy as possible for everyone. I highly recommend goodwell!”
